"My Big Naam Adventure" children's book

This short story is meant for children around the ages of 4-8. It teaches children about the Sikh way of meditation. Sikhi is a religion that started about 500 years ago in Northern India. Today it is the 5th largest religion in the world, with millions of Sikhs living in all parts of the world. Sikhs meditate on a "Guru-Mantar", also called Naam. They belief that Naam is not just a word, but it is also the energy that makes up the universe, and a manifestation of the Creator. Meditating on Naam is supposed to give us peace, love, and unity with the Creator.

Our main character (who is a young Sikh boy) experiences what it feels like to go "inside yourself", and then what it feels like to have an out-of-body experience. All of these experiences are depicted in an imaginative, magical, and kid-friendly way. The point of the story is not, however, to encourage kids to chase after miraculous experiences, but to see meditation as a fun and wonderful practice.
